The 48th session of the World Heritage Committee met in Busan, Republic of Korea, from 19-29 July 2026. The official UNESCO session page remains the most complete entry point for the agenda, timetable, working documents, nominations, registration, livestream, and Committee membership. In this tool, nominations are one part of the wider 48COM agenda.

48COM Decision Board
Inside the Committee room
The final decision is only the last line of a longer conversation. These records follow each nomination through advisory presentation, questions, amendments, adoption and response. Summaries are grounded in the official video record and its English automatic captions; caption limits are marked rather than silently reconstructed.
Why 33 proceedings but 34 final decisions? Mount Amel Castles was added during the session as an emergency nomination. Zerzevan Castle and Mithraeum remains in the final-decision dataset, but no matching official video proceeding was located in the records reviewed.
Amendments are preserved as proposals and shown beside the adopted final decisions. This record includes every Item 8B nomination amendment file published on the official UNESCO 48COM documents page, including revised versions.
After 48COM
The frozen pre-Committee evidence is compared with adopted decisions without overwriting the original advisory record.
